Wool sourced from the beloved Turkish countryside, washed in the local hot springs, dyed with the vegetables grown in the weavers’ gardens. A group of women weaving side-by-side using techniques passed down from their mothers. For months they sit in alongside each other, tying seamless knots in unison. Then all at once, their work is complete; the rug is cut off the loom and sent for sunning in a nearby village.
Tea is served.
This rhythm, this reverence, this dedication to the craft.
This is King’s House.

We encourage clients to take rugs out on approval. We want you to see the rug in its space, how the light plays on it, how it feels beneath your feet. We want you to know without a doubt it’s the one.MORE ON COMPLIMENTARY APPROVALS
